Disaster risk reduction and management and Crisis Management
With the aim of developing a safe and secure society, we employ the PDCA cycle to continually support improvements to the disaster preparedness of regions and organizations.
With the impact of global warming and other factors, large-scale flooding associated with abnormal weather phenomena, as well as flooding and landslides associated with localized torrential rainfall have recently become a common occurrence around the world. On top of that, there is no end to the damage wrought by major earthquakes, tsunamis, volcanic eruptions and other natural disasters. To deal with these natural disasters, broad-ranging efforts are underway to minimize damage across every aspect of their occurrence, from advance preparations to disaster response, emergency recovery, and rebuilding.
